आज आपका परिचय ‘it’ के अन्य महत्वपूर्ण Structures से करवा रहे हैं. आप इन Structures के अनुसार अन्य वाक्य भी बनाने का प्रयास करें. ‘It’ एवं ‘This’ के प्रयोग के अंतर का ज्ञान शुद्ध English Speaking हेतु आवश्यक है. दोनों अर्थ में समान से प्रतीत होते हैं. आज आपको ‘It’ एवं ‘This’ में अंतर का ज्ञान भी कराया जा रहा है.
It + ‘be’ form verb + for + Noun/Pronoun + Infinitive

किसी के लिए भी उससे गुस्सा होना मुश्किल है. |

एक सुन्दर लड़की के लिए स्मार्ट पति ढूँढना सरल है. |

एक पढ़ी लिखी स्त्री के लिए कमाना सामान्य बात थी. |

It was hard for her to live in this small house. |
उसके लिए इस छोटे से माकन में रहना बहुत कठिन था. |

उसके लिए इस ठोड़ी सी पेंशन में गुजरा करना मुश्किल था. |
It + seems/seemed, appears/appeared + Subject (that clause)

It seems that the communists will be elected. |
ऐसा लगता है कि कमुनिस्ट निर्वाचित होंगे. |

It appears that the car did not reach there. |
ऐसा लगता है कि कर वहां नहीं पहुंची. |
|
It seemed that the night would never end. |
ऐसा लगता है कि रात कभी समाप्त नहीं होगी. |

It appeared that the rains would never stop. |
ऐसा प्रतीत हुआ कि वर्षा कभी नहीं रुकेगी. |

It seems that you are not interested in this job. |
ऐसा लगता है कि तुम्हें इस कार्य में रूचि नहीं है. |
It + does not + matter + Subject (clause)
इस Sentence Structure का It के साथ प्रयोग आपसी Conversation में बहुत किया जाता है.

It does not matter whether we move now or later. |
हम अभी चलें या बाद में, उससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता है. |
|
Does it matter when we move? |
हम कब चलें, क्या उसका कोई महत्त्व है? |
|
It doesn’t matter whether she win or lose. |
वह जीते या हारे इससे कोई अंतर नहीं पड़ता है. |
|
It doesn’t matter whether they attend the function or not. |
वे फंक्शन में उपस्थित होयें या नहीं कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता. |

Does it matter, what she say? |
वह क्या कहती है, क्या इसका महत्व है? |
It + be form verb + sad/certain/doubtful + Subject
It का यह प्रयोग महत्वपूर्ण है:

यह निश्चित है कि तुम पास हो जाओगे. |

It is certain that he is wrong. |
यह निश्चित है कि वह गलत है. |
|
It is doubtful whether he will accompany us. |
वह हमारे साथ चलेगा यह संदेहास्पद है. |
|
It is doubtful whether she will marry you. |
वह तुमसे शादी करेगी, इसमें संदेह है. |
|
It is certain that she will help you. |
वह तुम्हारी सहायता करेगी, यह निश्चित है. |
|
It is sad that he is not well. |
वह ठीक नहीं है, यह दुखद है. |
|
It is sad that she will die soon. |
वह शीघ्र मर जाएगी, यह दुखद है. |
Use of ‘It’ and “This’ : Difference
पाठको के मन में यह विचार आना स्वाभाविक है. कि It का प्रयोग कहाँ और This का प्रयोग कहाँ होता है.
निम्न बिन्दुओं पर ध्यान दें :
It का प्रयोग कर्ता (as subject) की तरह; समय, मौसम, ऋतु, दुरी या एनी कोई प्राकृतिक घटना को व्यक्त करने हेतु निम्न प्रकार किया जाता है:

It’s very cold. |

It rains/thunders. |
यहाँ This का प्रयोग नहीं किया जा सकता है.
It का प्रयोग Infinitive, Gerund एवं Clause के साथ जैसा पूर्व में बताया गया है, विभिन्न Structure में किया जाता है. इन Structures में This का प्रयोग नहीं किया जा सकता है:

It is sad that she is ill. |
It का प्रयोग सामान्य रूप से वस्तुओं एवं पशुओं एवं ऐसी स्थिति में किया जाता है जब उसका Sex पता नही है.
व्यक्तिओं के लिए It का प्रयोग कर्ता को महत्त्व, प्रमुखता, प्रधानता व्यक्त करने हेतु निम्न प्रकार से किया जाता है:

‘This’ का प्रयोग सामान्य रूप से व्यक्ति, वस्तु, नाम के साथ एवं नजदीकियां व्यक्त करने हेतु किया जाता है.

This is my wife. |
|
This is All India Radio Jaipur. |

This is BBC. |
याद रखें
नाम, परिचय को व्यक्त करने हेतु This का प्रयोग करें, It का नहीं.
